Hi looking for friends that lived in the Borrowdale area, in the late 70's.

My Uncle had a Second-hand shop in Helensvale Shopping Centre, where I helped out, selling old furniture etc.

Friends at the time were Julie Chappel, whom I am happy to say I am now back in contact with, thanks to information on TCB forum, re; online telephone directory, I was able to contact her sister who gave me her details, as she is now in SA.

Other people I would like to contact if possible, is Anock Couplez, originally from Belgium, she had a younger sister Michelle, lived in Mount Pleasant area.

Anthony Capella, pronounced Capello, was a Police Cadet, at Helensvale Police Station, or was it called Borrowdale Police Station? Obviously Italian with a name like that, he was there around 78.

Kevin what's-it's-face, and his friend Andy, or was it Robert, red hair, lived on a farm, you all following me? It's just in case your memory is jogged. Anyway they went to Vianona High, will be around 44, 45, now. Andy/Robert tried to teach me to ride a motor-bike, he failed! after a group of friends were spectating my lessons, he decided to let me ride the bike by myself, big mistake! I inadvertently headed for my group of friends, they parted like the red sea, as I couldn't find the breaks and came to a holt as I crashed in to the wall, I can't believe how nice he was about it, and he did keep in touch for a little while.

Nicky and Richard Brown, brothers obviously, I dated Nicky for a while, he and his friends built a den above some shops in the Borrowdale Shopping Centre, got caught when shop-keeper suspected, probably a hobo (tramp), living there.

Well that's the end of my reminiscence session, any one recognise the names, I would love to hear how life has gone for them all, or if you were in the area in 70's , and fancy reminisce!
