Q4 - Aha - just realised which History tome you must be using... Etherlred the Unready was defeated by Svein Fokbeard and became King of England... Edmund was only King for a short period during the Battle of Ashington (1016) when he died of his wounds and Cnut (or Canute) took over.. - so you want King Cnut then...
