Guys as a lead on from my message to everyone please be aware that due to certain liberties being taken we have to start tightening up on what you post and where you post it.

We as moderators hope to lead by example and use discretion when it comes to posting possibly offensive or NSFW comments/video's or pictures.

PLEASE ensure when you make a post that is offensive/NSFW/racist or what ever, that you either post it in the NSFW section or put a NSFW tag on the thread heading.. if this is not done and we are informed of or come across such posts, we reserve the right to delete/move them. It will be at the discretion of the moderator as to any further action required based on the severity of the issue.

Guys we're not trying to chase the more liberal folks away but are purely asking for tolerance when it comes to more sensitive folks that may want to call TCB home. i hope you all understand and can move forward and help build the site up even further than it has already come!

thanks for your time!

Now you see ...... that compared to " I am not here to make friends comments, I have a major attitude " comment, actually illicits a feeling of co-operation.

I am not here to make friends igundwane and I am not here to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I have been asked to help with making TCB user friendly and accommodate all walks of life who would like to use this forum, there is a need for it - unless you have visions of being the only member here talking to yourself because of the many that have been alienated by a select few.

You have no reason to be intimidated by me and I am sure that we can work together.

just read the Hijack thread that has been closed, dont mean to be funny or whatever, but the way things are going dont you think that we might loose a few regular members(the ones that contribute more and make the site what it is), it seems that its the newbies that are complaining (the ones that are not contributing as much to the site).
We all have TVs, what we watch is up to us, they are not going to stop showing shows because it "might offend someone".
Ok my piece said, i will not bring it up anymore!!!
thank you

If people are offended by NSFW, then they shouldn't open it!
Simple!

You guys are getting your wee in a knot over a thread that is going on for 4 months old? Nothing like dredging up old news...

i would guess prob not, we just didnt listen...

just a quick question tho...what happens when a thread happens, through the use of banter, happens to lean towards NSFW/potentially offensive content...if you guys delete a post it could loose the whole fun of the post:smiley5:

we would use discretion. I would suggest we'd move thread to the NSFW section and put a tag on it.. deleting it is an extreme action and we will only delete it if its directly insulting or defaming a member of TCB, a duplicate post, spam or totally off-topic.

Yes we do, however, if you don't want to see rudies. it is tagged NSFW for your benefit.
