You will notice that the forum is now split into 2 parts...
serious part of the forum for hijack free conversation In the more serious sections of the forums, please refrain from posting hijacks - meaning that the topic goes off at a completely different tangent to what it was intended. Hijack posts will be deleted.

Natural progression in the discussion to different topics associated with the original post are acceptable (but nobody wants to know how somebody's father is in the middle of a thread taking it completely off track and rendering the whole thread irrelevant and disjointed). Please keep personal member to member conversations to the pager or private messaging system.
an un-moderated section for NSFW threads and most running threads for banter amongst friends.As the heading says - you are free to say and do as you please within reason. This part of the forum will NOT feed into the latest posts part of the forum - please check manually for any updates.

Please note that 'un-moderated' still means that common courtesy amongst members still applies and the following will not be tolerated at all.
Insults and personal attacks - Any type of insulting below-the-belt insult directed from one member to another member.
Sexual Slurs - Any type of serious sexual slur directed from one member to another member that is offensive.
Racial Slurs - Any type of slur directed from one member to another member or ethnic background insulting a specific ethnic background.

Disciplinary Actions


Members will be approached privately by private message from a member of staff regarding their actions or behaviour on thechiefbaboon.com.
Hijacks or arbitrary one word responses in the serious section that have no direct relevance to a thread will be deleted.
Three strikes and you are out rule - Approaches for cautioning or warnings by staff and admin will be logged. If there is an ongoing need to warn or reprimand a member on a continuous basis for offences, then there will come a point when you will be banned temporarily or permanently from taking part in the forum.
Spammers will be banned immediately without warning.Finally, please remember that the gestapo is not out to 'get' you, we are here to help and ensure that this forum is an enjoyable experience for everybody. Common courtesy for other members that we all share this forum with should prevail.

From now on, any members that continously replies with smilies or any other mindless drivel that is not constructive to the thread will be placed in the "Moderate" group without warning.

This will mean that your posts will not appear until a moderator has checked the moderation queue and approved your posts. You will placed in that group until a mod or admin feels the member shows a level of maturity and their posts a contribution to TCB.
