Vacancy:
Small, well established nutrition college in West Hampstead, NW6, requires full time Receptionist/Student liaison officer, to be part of our dynamic team. They will be required to deal with all aspects of reception desk work, as well as liaising with students and maintaining their academic records.
The right candidate must have previous office experience in the UK and have relevant Visa/work permits
ABILITIES & ATRIBUTES:-
- Educated to A’ Level, one of which must be English language
- Excellent phone manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and conversational)
- Computer Literate with word/excel/power point
- Web / IT literate
- Ability to work on self-initiative with little or no supervision
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
- Good attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- A positive attitude and sense of humor
- Passion and enthusiasm
- Strong team player
- Hardworking, conscientious and enjoy responsibility
- Prepared to work out of hours as well as normal office hours
- Adaptable to change
- Non-smoker and dog lover (we have a small office dog called Pumpkin)
- Interest in nutrition an advantage, but not essential
The role:
- Managing Principal’s Diary
- Responding to students’ queries
- Responding to public enquiries about course
- Managing small specialized students library
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Applicants MUST have previous administration and PA experience.
Starting salary £18,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, to be reviewed after 3 months. Free Science Foundation Course offered as a bonus after 1 year of employment.
