Ok, so I have an idea about how the "reps" work but how the hell do I do it

Why can I sometimes add images in a post and not others?

Why, when it says e.g. "12 new posts" I can only find one or two? I know that some of the NSFW is not displayed on the new posts bit but I don't they account for all of the missing posts.(else I'm missing out on a lot of NSFW!)

You've got the reps under control....(thanks :))

There is a limit to the size of the images you can upload. You'll see a list of the max sizes for the various file types when you click the attach icon. If an image is too big just resize to suit and try again.

Not sure about your last query - maybe someone else can answer this one?

The NSFW posts and any posts you make do not show in the new posts section. Don't worry, you are not missing out of anything..

Yeah I am forever clicking on the "new posts" box, that's how I refresh the page, however, there always seems to be a discrepancy between how many it says there should be and how many there are and the NSFW ones don't add up to the difference

Yeah I know. However...... I will click on it now and it will say "164 new posts since your last visit" and then list them. However, when I count down the list there are only 150. Or whatever. This isn't an issue when there are 164 new posts(replies) but when it lists say four, and doesn't show any while I am looking for something new to read that I am perplexed.

Actually it's not that big an issue at all it was just something that I didn't/don't understand. I am not too fussed about it. Just curious.

It could be but I don't think so. I even checked the chat page and nothing was going on there. I have seen the number move up one or two with nothing new on the list

OK, in the user CP, where it says who repped you, there is a little coloured square next to each entry. Some are blue, and some are purple? Any idea why?

Blue / Purple is rep from people that have less than 50 posts that have repped you. Their pos / neg rep doesnt not influence your rep until they have reached 50 posts but still shows up in your rep list
