Lion and Cheetah Park followed by Larvon Bird Gardens was always the thing to do when you had family over from elsewhere... Must admit we seem to do Larvon more than Lion and Cheetah and then onwards to the lake... Those were the days!

When I last saw that monster, in 2002, he had white paint on his shell saying DO NOT SIT ON ME !!!

There were a couple of French tourists there and I heard one say to the other, goodness, just imagine this tortoise was alive in Napolean's day. That really brought it's age home !

Please do tell, where is he now ?

I love the Lion and Cheetah Park......I was there in December 2005 and I can't believe that same tortoise is still there......AMAZING!!!!!!

I loved the Lion and Cheetah Park and I remember the tortoise - He was pretty amazing. Don't know what has happened to the place now - shudder to think really.

I seem to remember 300+ but could be wrong
