Darren Uys - Six foot 8 and just simply Massive!!! (a good 120kgs at 17yrs old)
Played XV rugby for watershed in 1994-5
Darren had fingers the size of my wrist!!
He was the All-africa Schools Discus & Javelin champion as well, as far as i can remember.
Not sure what happened to him . i can just remember he was utterly devistating on the field alongside our other man-giant Mr Middleton.

I remember those two! I remember a match between Peterhouse and shed and Peterhouse's hooker got taken out (pint size dude) and his equally small mother ran on the field and took on Uys and told him she would smack his bum for being rough with her boy! Very funny!

Doug Travella Vale, him and Steyn could probably kick equal distances, quietened the St Gorgeous supporters when his 50m kick bounced off the cross bar...

I played U21's with Doug at Harare Sports club. He did have a monster hoof. We then got that guy from PE who played fullback that could kick it even further so Doug moved to wing. His name escapes me now, he had blond hair.... anyone know whom i am talking about.
