Reseting of cash, rep and arcade scores?

Who votes that we reset all the scores and start again for the year 2008?

I was thinking we do this but recognise the winners for this year. We could do this by having scrolling text under their avs saying something like "Rep Slut Winner 2007" or something else to recognise their achievements.

Rep - Chick (no competition!)
Cash - FS (no competition!)
Arcade Scores - Yarrumsg (no competition!)
Art Comp Winner - Galeforce / Juggo

Number of reasons why i was thinking we do this. Cash - noone has that much incentive to bet or play the lottery because of huge amounts of dosh etc.

Pehaps, if advertising goes well this year I'll happyily put up prizes for next years winners.

Anyhow, give me thoughts on the matter

rolf i don't think my boss is going to be all that happy if i have to spend hr upon hr resetting all my scores again ;) i'm not phased that much however with the 300 odd games that we have in the arcade it might be worth trimming a little fat? or at least suspend some of them so there isn't a mad dash and not much competition...

I'm all for changing the scores, etc for a new beginning.

But then again, I don't have a high score, I don't compete with the wang sluts and I don't have much moolah.

I think the cash and reps show which members have been here for a while and who are regular posters etc so it will be sad to see it go. :smiley19: Will we be left with enough cash to mess with each others Av's etc? One earns Vbucks for various things like, rep, posting , starting threads etc. These can then be spent by doing things like buying someone an av, betting on sports ,gambling etc.

At the current exchange rate. one Vbucks is worth 3 Z$ (02:22NZT)

Nah, they are just floating around (in your wallet?) until you bank them. Bank them in order to earn interest. You have to withdraw them if you want to spend them.

The amount cash you have shows under your avatar....for instance, I can see you have cash but you haven't deposited any into the bank yet. My advice - bank it so it can earn interest :smiley2:
